The Wax Brush Kit will get your base dialed in after waxing and up to speed the second your equipment hit the snow. You need edges that are smooth, sharp, and rust free. And you need some wax on the base. The Basic Kit gets the job done.

Includes: Large Nylon, Horse Hair, and Brass Waxing Brushes, F-1 All Temperature High Performance 65g wax, 6" scraper, Instructions and a custom zippered pouch to keep it all in.

Waxing, Scraping, Iron Instructions:

Hot Waxing Instructions:

1. Select correct temperature specific wax by checking mountain conditions/snow report...(actual snow temperature, not air).

2. Press wax on the iron and distribute small drips of wax over the entire base. DO NOT ALLOW IRON TO SMOKE!

3. With iron in hand, slowly pull the iron over the wax drips smoothing them into a sheet of wax that covers the entire base tip to tail.

4. Let the wax cool 10-15 minutes, then scrape with a sharp plastic scraper. DO NOT USE a steel scraper.

5. Use a wax brush or fiber pad, remove excess wax from base, brushing from tip to the tail. This allows your base to glide fast. 

BRUSH TYPE INFORMATION:

Nylon: Use for hard waxes, wax structure, and removing old wax.

Brass: Use to structure waxes and bases. Also used to remove old base material and waxes.

Horse Hair: Use on all wax types for the best polish. Use as the final brush out after a nylon brush.
